About Florent Bourdoux

Fascinated by sciences related to humans, it was without hesitation that Florent chose to venture into the Faculty of Medicine, Medical Biology section. At the end of his bachelor’s degree, he focused on living beings, but on a smaller scale, at the cellular level. Thus, during his master’s BBMC (Biochemistry and Molecular and Cellular Biology ), he wrote his thesis on studying the activation of the UPR (Unfolded Protein Response) pathway during senescence induced by UV-B. He then completed his end-of-master internship in 2021 at the DUVE Institute, aiming to develop and understand the activation of Stress Adaptive Pathways within tumor-infiltrating CD8+ T lymphocytes. He joined E-BIOM in December 2021 as a laboratory technician within the epidemiology division. He is in charge of analyzes for detecting SARS-CoV-2 and its variants in wastewater. It also provides support for R&D.
